excise tax rates on petroleum products. Russia had announced a rise in oil prices
from the beginning of December, but a visit by Minister of Mineral Resources
and Energy D.Zorigt to Russia then led to prices being reduced in some
categories such as A-80 and A-92. Therefore, the excise tax on both is being
raised. He assured that retail prices would not change.
The exploration agreement with Magnai Trade LLC was approved and the national
company will start work soon. A Chinese company will start exploration activity
in the 24th block. Both companies will work under product sharing agreements.
