Following the Memorandum of Understanding signed during
the visit of Prime Minister S.Batbold to Canada, calling for Canadian
cooperation in reforming the civil service in Mongolia, a video tele-conference
was held recently at which members of the Canadian House of Commons Standing
Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development exchanged views with
members of the Civil Service Council of Mongolia. Statements from Minister of
Minerals and Energy D. Zorigt and the Chairman of the Mongolian Civil Service
Council, Mr. D. Zumberellkham, began the meeting, and the talks ended with
identification of possible programs to be supported by the Canadian Executive
Service Organization, and the Center for Trade Policy and Law.
