DP forms two groups to prepare economic program

At the outset of the DP
Executive Council meeting yesterday, Chairman N.Altankhuyag congratulated
members on the 10th anniversary of five political parties coming together to
form the Democratic Party. The council then got down to business.

It appointed two working
groups, one to give final shape to the economic development program “Mongol Citizen
2020” adopted by the National Consultative Committee on November 19 and the
other to revise the party’s rules. All party members can offer their views and
suggestions to the two groups.

The meeting also approved the program for
observing the 20th anniversary of the Democratic Revolution. A Flash Mob would
be presented by young people in Sukhbaatar Square on December 9, and a meeting will
be held in the Great Hall of Government House at 2 pm on December 10. On December
11, there will be national wrestling at 3 pm in Wrestling Palace, a cultural
performance in the UB Palace and fireworks at 9 pm.
