The MPP
group of MPs yesterday discussed draft changes to the rules of Parliament and
its chief, D.Lundeejantsan, told media after the meeting that it would like the
term of recesses between meetings of Parliament, standing committees and
working groups to be limited to 21 days. Members also expressed concern that
frequent postponement of discussion has led to some imporrtant issues
remaining  pending for two or three
years.

Both the MPP and the DP
groups favor the changes but while the fomer would like them to be implemented
immediately, the DP group would like it to take effect in2012.
