The third consultative meeting of Mongolian and Indian Defense Minis try officials was held in Ulaanbaatar on Monday. The Mongolian side included Director of Strategic Administration Planning Department Brig. Gen. D.Bayarsaikhan, Director of Foreign Cooperation Department Col. Ch.Yorooltsengel and others, while the Indian team included the Secretary at the General Bureau of Foreign Relations at the Defense Ministry S.Nagara, and the Indian Ambassador.

They reviewed the achievements so far of cooperation in the defense sector, discussed the current situation and future directions. They explored possibilities of holding joint military trainings, Indian aid for military construction and engineering work, and for setting up a training center for peace operations.

Vice Minister for Defense S.Baasankhuu and Vice Director of the General Military, Brig. Gen. B.Bayarmagnai held separate talks with the Indian officials.
