Both the DP and the MPP are in a hurry to get their new offices ready before the election. Work on the House of the Democracy began in June, at the same site as the present DP headquarters, and is now at a stage when the party has to move temporarily to the City Democratic Party’s office behind S.Zorig’s statue. The new construction will cost MNT20 billion received from donations.

The new MPP building is being built with state financing because it was damaged in the public disorder on July 1, 2008. MNT10 billion will be spent on the construction and the opening is likely in March, 2011.
