A
UN expert group arrived in Mongolia on  November 20 and will be working
here until November 27 to check on  the progress of the implementation
of the Anti Corruption Convention of the UN. The Chief of the Anti
Corruption Authority (ACA), Ch.Sangaragchaa, received the group today.

The visitors will also talk to senior officials of the Ministry of
Justice and Internal Affairs, the Supreme Court, the Ministry of
Finance, the State Prosecutor-General’s Office, the General Police
Department, the Mongol Bank, the State Office Council, the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and Trade, the National Audit Board, the Mongolian
Employers’ Union and Transparency International Mongolia, an NGO.

They will also exchange views with the national experts’ group that
works on the Convention, as part of the UNDP project to support and
develop justice and transparency in Mongolia.
