Unpaid loans rise 2.1 percent in a month

The Mongolbank reports money supply (broad money or M2)
at the end of September was 5.3 percent more than at the end of August 2010,
and  45.2 percent more than in the same
period in 2009. Loans outstanding at the end of September were 2.1 percent more
than at the end of August, and 17.3 percent more than a year ago. Principals in
arrears at the end of September fell 11.3 percent from what they were at the
end of August 2010, and 61.8 percent year-on-year.
Non-performing bank loans at the end of September rose 0.2 percent over the end
of August, and 3.4 percent over the end of September, 2009.
