The Chief of the Policy Implementation Coordinating Board
of the Justice Ministry, T.Altangerel, has denied rumors that the international
arbitration council has asked the Government to pay MNT50 billion to the Altan Dornod
Mongol gold mining company. He said no orders have been issued but expected a
decision by the year-end.

The Government has so far spent USD 5 million on the case
filed by S.V. Paushok, the Russian Executive Director of Altan Dornod. The
Ministry will soon reveal details about the cases against Paushok in Mongolia.
