Yesterday’s  Government meeting raised the special tax on
A-80 auto fuel from MNT150,000 to MNT210,000 per ton and on AI-92 from
MNT170,000 to MNT200,000per ton. This will apply only to imports through the
Sukhbaatar, Zamiin-Uud, Ereentsav and Altanbulag border points. The tax on diesel
has been reduced from MNT215,000 to MNT135,000 per ton. The changes become
effective on October 8.
