The Harvest Committee of the Ministry of the Food,
Agriculture and Light Industry met yesterday to discuss harvest-related issues,
including delivery to local economic entities. Altogether 264,600 tons or 75.6%
of the planned harvest has already been bought in from 192,500 hectares. This
includes 135,400 tons or 83.6% of potatoes, and 71,800 tons or 86.5% of vegetables.
The committee has asked farmers to finish the harvest in a week, to give correct
figures, and to keep seeds for next year.
