A three-day inspection has been concluded on how small and medium
enterprises (SMEs) in the Ulaanbaatar area have utilized the loans they took
from the SME Development Fund. Altogether 142 enterprises of the city received
MNT6.7 billion of credit, with a maximum limit of MNT100 million for any single
borrower. They will have to repay the loan if the audit decides that the loan
has been diverted from its originally stated purpose.
