Yokozuna Hakuho won his 16^th Emperor’s Cup
yesterday as he finished the Tokyo basho with a 15-0 record. This is his fourth
consecutive title, and he has now won 61 successive bouts, coming tantalizingly
near the winning streak of 69 by the legendary yokuzuna, Futabayama, in the
1930s.
