Simon Morris, the new Khan Bank Chief Executive Officer, recently called on First Deputy
Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag to discuss topical issues. Altankhuyag said the
banking sector has to be restructured in anticipation of the promised mining
boom and this requires united action and a sense of responsibility. Morris said
even in the short time he has been here, he has been struck by the
Government’s, as also the people’s, determination to develop the economy with
help from the abundant natural resources, and promised his bank will fulfill all
expectations.
