Mongolian singers and dancers
performed at the Shanghai Expo Center yesterday evening to celebrate Mongolia”s
National Pavilion Day. The show gave a taste of the country”s traditional folk
arts and pop music as well as its interpretation of western art forms. The show
featured opera, the Khusugtun band, solo performances by 40 artists, and a
contortion display.

Foreign Affairs Minister G.Zandanshatar inaugurated the
ceremony that began with raising the Mongolian national flag and singing the
anthem. He said Mongolia’s participation at the Expo had given many countries a
chance to know about it.
