The Ministry of Nature and Tourism, the Biological
Institute of the Scientific Academy and representatives of the World Wildlife
Fund (WWF) in Mongolia are among those participating at a two-day wildlife
conservation conference in Ulaanbaatar. The conference has been organized by the UN
project on the Mongol Altai-Soyonii ecological region and the WWF.
It will discuss the status of various species of
wildlife in the area, the migration of antelope, and protection of mountain
sheep, wild goats and camels. Altogether
43 reports on various aspects of conservation are on the agenda to be submitted
and debated.
