A competition to write
historical plays has been announced to commemorate the 2,220^th
anniversary of the Hunnu Empire, the 100^th anniversary of the
national revolution for freedom, the 90^th anniversary of the
people’s revolution and the 80^th anniversary of the Drama Theatre,.
The competition aims to develop Mongolian literature and to encourage the
spirit of patriotism among younger people. The winner will be named on January
1, 2011.
