Ulaanbaatar Mayor
G.Munkhbayar met on Monday with Tom Morgan, founder of the Mongol Rally and
representative of the British Investment Office in Ulaanbaatar. This year some
1,000 racers from 44 countries are participating in the Mongol Rally that began
three weeks ago and will finish in Ulaanbaatar. All the rally vehicles are
equipped with fire fighting and first aid equipment, and these will be donated
to Mongolia”s emergency service. The vehicles will be serviced and repaired here
after the Rally and the Mayor proposed that 
people with less than the average income be trained for the job.
