Last Tuesday, the director of the Independent Authority Against Corruption (IAAC) N.Ganbold submitted a letter to the President requesting his dismissal. On Wednesday 13^th April, the Justice Standing Committee accepted his proposal and passed it on to Parliament for discussion; this took place on Thursday. Subsequently, 43 Members of Parliament accepted Mr Ganbold’s resignation. The IAAC director’s full term of appointment is six years. N.Ganbold has been working as director of the IAAC as a director for just over four-and-a-half years.
