The unique type of Mongolian art is contortion and many professional contortionists from our country perform in circuses around the world. At present a project is underway to firmly put the art of Mongolian contortion into the World Guinness Records. In order to do this, it is planned to gather no less than 350 contortionists on Chinggis Square in Ulaanbaatar on 6^th August 2016. As preparation for this event, auditions are being held in the capital and across the country. It is anticipated that soon the 350 selected contortionists will commence their joint training for the big day.
