On 5^th April, the Minister of Mongolia M.Enkhsaikhan had a meeting with the Japanese Ambassador to Mongolia H.E. Shimizu Takenori.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged information about the agreement with Japan’s “Marubeni” Corporation, which has been chosen as the investor of the “Tavan Tolgoi Power Plant”. M.Enkhsaikhan noted that the Mongolian Government would like the investment contract to be signed in May 2016.

Ambassador Shimizu Takenori said that he is fully supporting the Tavan Tolgoi Power Plant project, which is important for developing Mongolian-Japanese relations.
