On 10th February, the proposed alterations to the “Nuclear Energy Law” were presented to the Speaker of Parliament. The main purpose of this legislative project are to replace the state shares in the nuclear field with a special fee for working with radioactive materials and to implement a set licence fee for the sector and other such changes.
As a result of the proposed changes, more attractive conditions will be created for investment and establishing mutually beneficical agreements. Also, the legal relations between the state and special licence holders will be clarified. Therefore, legislation will be made more watertight and less open violation and the number of tax sources will be increased.
