Two criminals who were planning to smuggle precious Mongolian historical and cultural antiques out of the country have been arrested. The criminals were sibling sisters, now refered to as “B” and “G”. On 26th January, the General Intelligence Agency of Mongolia arrested the pair as they were about to cross the border into China at the Zamiin-Uud crossing. With them the sisters had 27 antique items.
During the investigation, it was revealed that this was not the first time the sisters had done this – it was revealed that on 24th January previoulsy “B” and “G” had sent the antiques by parcel to Zamiin-Uud.
