President Elbegdorj, who is currently attending the 46^th World Economic Forum in Davos, has had a meeting with the President of Switzerland Johann Schneider-Ammann.

During the meeting, the two presidents expresed their satisfaction on co-operation development; they also discussed the possibilities of deepening relationships in many directions. Another topic was that of Mongolian achievements in strenghtening democracy.

Relating to the topic of “Mongolian Neutrality”, which was announced during the 70^th UN-General Assembly, President Schneider-Ammann shared the Swiss experience of neutrality which dates back to the end of the Napoleonic Wars; Switzerland declared “Permanent Neutrality” in 1815.
