Yesterday, Member of Parliament G.Uyanga presented a bill to the Speaker, which proposed to dismiss the Prime Minister. The main cause for MP Uyanga’s action is that she and her supporters believe that it was wrong of PM Saikhanbileg to sign the important Oyu-Tolgoi contract in Dubai last summer.

It was therefore agreed that today the State Structure Standing Committee would discuss the proposal. However, the discussion schedule which is approved by the Commission Meeting of the Speaker of Parliament was changed today; as a result, the Standing Committee did not discuss G.Uyanga’s bill, as had been planned. Discussion has been postponed until 08:30 tomorrow morning (21^st Jan).
