According to the preliminary report for 2015, the total amount of balanced income and grants was MNT 5973.8 billion and the amount of total expenses and net loans came to MNT 7,136.9 billion. Therefore, the state budget deficit was MNT 1163.2 billion.

The income from special taxes increased by 30.4%, social insurance by 13.2%, income tax by 7% and other taxation by 1.2%. Even though, income from some sources increased in 2015, the total amount of taxation fell by MNT 14.3 billion (0.3%) fell on the previous year. Because, income from VAT fell by MNT 334.6 billion (24.2%), income from foreign operations reduced by MNT 34.7 billion (9.8%).
