Yesterday, as part of the events marking the 24th anniversary of the Mongolian Democratic Constitution, an important ceremony took place at the State History Museum during which the original version the constitution document went on show.
The ceremony started at 11.40 am, during which, B.Boldbaatar, who is Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Administration said: “On 13th January, every year, we will be making the original version of the constitution available for the public to see. For five days, starting today, people can see the original constitution document at the State History Museum”.
The original version of the constitution is protected by the State and is kept in the office of the President. In accordance with tradition, every newly elected Mongolian President makes an oath by placing his hand on this important document.
