The Minister of Environment Green Development and Tourism N.Battsereg has proposed exporting a natural plant product, namely cedar nuts. This, however, was undertaken without the approval of the members of the government.

Following discussion, Minister Battsereg has been tasked to solve the issue relating to the unsanctioned export of the cedar nuts. This needs to be done within the framework of the “Law on Natural Plants” and the “Law on the Usage Natural Resources”.

As of 18th December, five companies and one individual have made requests to the Ministry of Environment Green Development and Tourism for the export of 150 tons of cedar nuts.
