The 69th Great Champion of Japanese professional wrestling, Hakuho M.Davaajargal, has entered the Guinness World Records. He has won the supreme sumo rank no less than 35 times. This year, he led the “Bashos” (official tournaments) of Janauary, March, and July. Hakuho also holds the records for the maximum number of wins in the “Makuuchi” category, the maximum number of continuous victories and the maximum number of wins for additional wrestling. Makuuchi is the top division of the six divisions of professional sumo.

Hakuho aims to reach the 40 win target in the future.

In February 2015, the President of Mongolia awarded Hakuho the title of “Hero of Labor”.
