During November 2015, the incidence of theft increased by 14%, in comparison with the same month last year. This sharp rise has resulted in the launch last month of the “Capital City Crime Detection” campaign. Results have been quick; so far, 259 wanted criminals have been arrested. Furthermore, the police have identified 428 criminal cases, which had not previously been registered.

December 2015 statistics show that the number of crimes being solved has increased by 3.6% in comparison to December 2014.
