The Keene Sentinel, a newspaper published in
Chesterfield, New Hampshire, USA, reports that this has been a summer of firsts
for Khurelbaatar Munkhbat. First airplane ride, first trip to the United
States, first view of the ocean, first hamburger.

The shy 18-year-old college student from Mongolia —
“Huujii” to his family and friends — is spending the summer in Chesterfield on
a work and travel visa offered to international college students. “My
classmates told me about (the visa program) and I looked it up on the
Internet,” he said. Some other students from his school are living in Colorado,
New Jersey and Arizona.

Munkhbat’s hosts for summer, James “Jim” A. Moulton and
Julie D. Moulton, are former Peace Corps volunteers who returned from a
two-year stint in Mongolia in August 2009.
