From 12^th to 14^th December, the first “Mongolian Nations” boxing competition took place. The event was organized at the initiative of the “World Mongolians’ Global Society” and with the support of the “Mongolian Boxing Federation” and took placein the “Wrestling Palace”. Boxers from Mongolia and the Russian Mongolian regions ofBuryatia, Kalmykia and Tuvaparticipated.The contestants played three rounds for three minutes in accordance with “AIBA” rules. The boxers from Inner Mongolia, sadly, could not participate in the first “Mongolian Nations” boxing competition.

As the host country, fourMongolian boxers participated in every category of the competition. Other countries sent one boxer to each rank. Not surprisingly, the Mongolian boxers did extremely well and won every rank. The Mongolian team won the competition andreceived the 750 carat gold cup.
