The first “Golden Football Awards” ceremony for best players of 2015 was held on 12th December at the Shangri-La Hotel.

The candidates were nominated by the technical bureau of the Mongolian Football Federation in accordance with their performance statistics for the year.

The winners are selected by the votes of 52 judges, including: nine club coaches and team leaders of the “Khurkhree National Supreme League”, ten club coaches and team leaders of the “Khurkhree National First League”, and 14 sport journalists, who are members of the Mongolian Sport Journalist federation.

The awards went to:

• Best male player: O.Bayarjargal – Midfielder of the “Ulaanbaatar FC”
• Best Female player: B.Namuun –“Khad Club”
• Best Coach: D.Batnasan Z.Battulga –“Erchim Club”
• Best goal: B.Garidmagnai –“Selenge Press Club”
• Best judge: B.Khash-Erdene

Also, a prize, named after the President of the Mongolian Football Federation went to “Khujirt Club”, “Arvain Undes Company”, “GN Beverages Company”, “Ntv Television”, and the “Ikh Mongol Company”.

During the ceremony, the UB Mayor E.Bat-Uul announced that the City Football Cup, which will have a MNT 1 billion budget allocation, will be organized from the next year.
