Two months have been elapsed, since the UB City Tax was introduced. During this period, MNT 193,177 million in revenue has been received.

Under the City Tax Law, bars restaurants, hotels, services and licenced alcohol and tabacco vendors operating within the city limits must pay 1% tax of their sales revenue. It is predicted that MNT 13 billion will come in annually as a result of the tax law.

Currently, 5374 tax paying entities are operating under special agreement within Ulaanbaatar.
