On 1st December, Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren had an official meeting with U.S Ambassador Jennifer Z.Galt. During the meeting, both sides expressed their pleasure of intensifying the relationship and co-operation between Mongolia and the United States. In addition, both confirmed that they will co-operate especially in the areas of trade, economy, and investment.

Ambassador Galt noted: “Mongolia is the good example for those countries, which are in transition to democracy. During the period of my appointment, I intend to work and contribute to preparing young Mongolain democratic leaders”. Also, the two sides exchanged their opinions about multilateral co-operation and the operations of the Mongolian International Co-operation Foundation.
