The Mongolian Minister of Industry is currently visiting various European countries. On 22nd-23rd November, Minister D.Erdenebat was in the Czech Republic where he had a meeting with Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr Jan Mladek.

The plans for the “Erdenet Power Plant Extension” and a human resource study program have been presented to Czech Development Agency (CzDA), the organisaztion responsible for providing technical assistance intenationally. 

Minister D.Erdenebat said: “The Czech Republic is interested in supplying equipment to Mongolia. Therefore, the two sides need to co-operate and carefully study the financial issues regarding purchasing the Czech equipment. Also, the Czech Republic would like to invest and co-operate with Mongolia in mining and industry. They have expressed a wish to supply mining technology and equipment to Mongolia. In addition the Czech Trade Bank wishes to co-operate with the Mongolian Development Bank”.
