In October, the General Police Authority received 43,429 complaints and crime-related information. Last month, a total of 86174 people were accused of breaking the law and 2670 crimes have been registered. The police have charged and detained 7922 people for being drunk. These statistics demonstrate an increase on the previous month. In detail: in September, the total numbers of the complaints to the General Police Authory was 38,693 of which; 2367 numbers were reported crimes, 7744 drunks being detained and 75,086 legal offences.
