The “Malta-Open Chess Competition” is currently underway. This is the fifth time the event has being held. The winner of last year’s competition, Mongolia’s B.Gundavaa is representing the country once again. A total of 207 chess players from 31 countries are participating in the “Malta-Open”. During the first seven boards of play, Chess Master B.Gundavaa has already taken the lead the competition with 6.5 points. J.Munkhbayr, who is an official judge of the International Chess Federation, has been appointed as a deputy judge at the “Malta-Open”. The “Shunkhlai Group” is sponsoring B.Gundavaa for his competition. The event, which began on 15th of November, will end tomorrow.
