The Master of Sport and sportsmen of the “Hangarid Club” A.Ankhbayar has obtained the right to participate in the “Rio-2016” Paralympics from the Asian Para Championships, which have been taking place from 10^thto 19^th November. A. Ankhbayar paticipated in the 29’ long-arrow category. This is Mongolia’s second paralympic participation approval. In August 2015, the Champion of the Beijing 2008 Paralympics, D.Baatarjav took the first Mongolian paralympic “right” for archery at the World Championship which was held in Germany.

Currently, Mongolia has five paralympic “rights”, namely: Z.Ganbaatar for shooting, B.Tsogtgerel for athletics, P.Sodnompeljee for powerlifting, D.Baatarjav and A.Ankhbayar from archery.
