So far during 2015, Mongolia has exported products worth USD 3.9 billion, of which, USD 3.0813 billion consist of natural resource materials. The export of natural resources has fallen by USD 700.6 million on the same period last year. The biggest decline is in coal exports (22%); in October last year, 14.8 million tons of coal was exported; as of this October, the figure had fallen to 11.5 million tons. In addition, this year has seen a fall in the export of iron ore. However, the export of copper concentrate (10%), unprocessed crude oil (15.9%) and gold (19.5%) has increased.
