On 18th November in the US city of Boston, Mongolian Minister of Education Culture and Science, L.Gantumur, and the President of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), L.Rafael Reif, signed a co-operation contract. Under the contract, students, professors, and researchers of the National University of Mongolia (NUM) and Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST) will co-operate with the MIT in order to promote entrepreneurship and innovationion in the Mongolian science sector.
During the signing ceremony, Minister L.Gantumur noted: “Mongolia has great history; great passion is required to continue great history. We consider Mongolian to possess passion in scientific education. Therefore, this co-operation with MIT represents a advantageous historical landmark”.
Mr. L.Rafael Reif noted that: “MIT selects 100 students from the 7 billion people of the world annually. It is wonderful that five Mongolian students are going to study in the bachelor degree program at MIT”.
