Even though, the price of copper is falling on international markets, the operations of the “Erdenet Plant” are continuing as normal. During the current economic crisis, the “Erdenet Plant” is working under cost-saving conditions. As a result of careful management, the “Erdenet Plant” has transferred the mandatory taxes – including social insurance contributions) and provided benefits to employees related to “working results” and the “copper price”.

Due to the first nine months of 2015, the “Erdenet Factory” has implemented the plan; accumulated MNT 219.5 billion of taxes and social insurance premium. Also, in previous two years, “Erdenet Factory” has saved MNT 140 billion, by always decreasing the price of 1 tons of copper.
