On 26^th October, at a regular meeting, the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) Group discussed clarifications regarding the 2015 State Budget and the draft “2016 State Budget”. After the meeting, the Director of the MPP Group S.Byambatsogt and Deputy Director D.Khayanhyarvaa summarized the results of the meeting, saying: “The 2016 State Budget Law plans to reduce the salary of the 2900 political and government civil servants by 30%. Our Group does not accept this provision. Salary reductions will not end the economic crisis. Instead of this, cutting the unnecessary expenses on petrol” transportation, conferences, and foreign appointments from a level identical to2012 is essential to solve the economic problems”.
