On 20th October, the human rights-legal advisor to the Presidential Administration, Ch.Unurbayar, presented the draft “Mongolian Neutrality” law to the Parliamentary Speaker. The draft consists of three chapters and eleven provisions. The team who prepared the draft believe that; “by approving this law, the spheres of Mongolian foreign policy, defense, and national security will be improved”. Furthermore, this law will not change foreign policy; rather it will become the guidelines to communicate with foreign countries equally. Upon introducing the draft law, Ch.Unurbayar stressed that it is linked with the Mongolian Constitution, the Convention on National Security, the Convention on Foreign Policy and Principles of the State Military Policy.
