The Ministry of Environment Green Development and Tourism and “Tuul River Basin Authority” have organized the cleanup campaign along the river bank. The staff of the Ministry of Environment, Green Development and Tourism, its various agencies, members of the JICA Alumni Association and students of the Agriculture Universities participated in the clean-up campaign. Approximately, 200 people have cleaned the river banks from the Bayanzurkh to the Yarmag Bridges. The State Secretary at the Ministry of Environment Green Development and Tourism said that: “3.2 million tons of waste is produced annually. In the near future, the “Law on Waste” will be approved. The payment system for waste producers will be established in the law”.
