The rule of obtaining “blue tickets”, which are required for vehicles crossing the Mongolian Russian border, has changed. According to the new rule, the tourist companies must have the permission certificate to transport tourists and must report the name of the co-driver.

The price of the blue ticket is MNT 15,000; the black-market price, however, has been as high as MNT 700,000. Therefore, the new rule will prevent from the extra added price of the blue tickets; and be valid from 12th October.
