An inquest will finally be held next week into the
shooting 13 years ago of a British agricultural consultant in Mongolia. Mr.
Jarman, who lived in the English town of Bath with his wife Sally and two
children, was shot dead in a Mongolian hotel room.
At the time of the murder there was speculation that Mr.
Jarman might have disturbed a burglar or that he was assassinated because he
had found evidence of corruption through his work in the capital Ulaanbaatar
for the Asian Development Bank.
