Today, L.Tsog, the chief of the State Rehabilitation Commission and Deputy Speaker of Parliament held a press conference to mark  the “Day of the Victims of Political Oppression” in Government House. Mr. Tsog said that: “Mongolia has rehabilitated 31.1 thousand political victims, since the rehabilitation programme began. The Mongolian Government has provided compensation totalling MNT 16.2 billion to the 18,036 relatives and children of the victims of political oppression”.

Tomorrow, the top Mongolian leaders will participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the “Political Victim Monument”; a photography exhibition will also open in the Mongolian National Museum.
