The Ministry of Defense project “Establishing the Military Departments in Universities” is part of the 2012-2016 Government Program. The first higher-education institution to implement this project has been the “Mongolian National University” which concluded a co-operation memorandum with the Ministry of Defense on 28^th August 2015. Major General Z.Boldbaatar, representing the Ministry of Defense, and the head of the “Mongolian National University” board, L.Munkhbat signed the memorandum. Within the framework of memorandum, “Elementary Military Training” will be taught to all students. Another project, entitled “Training Officer” will be available for specific students.
