Yesterday, the World Judo Championship-2015, which is being held this year in Astana Kazakhstan, came to an end. The team competition was the last category in this year’s competition and involved the top 16 male and female teams. The Mongolian male team took bronze medals and the female team came in fifth place. The Mongolian team won the first four ranks of the kilograms categories, and met the medal requirements.

-66kg: Gabit Esimbetov – Kh.Tsagaanbaatar (won with a wazari point)

-73kg: Zhansaya Smagulov – G.Odbayar  (net win with 4 penalties)

-81kg:  Aziz Kalkamanuly – O.Uuganbayar (won with the wrapping technique)

-90kg: Samat Esen – L.Otgonbaatar (net win with pressure)

+90kg: Maxim Rakov – N.Tuvshinbayar (won with wazari and yuko points).
